Midnight Babble

Well, tonight I am having a tough time sleeping! Any idea why? Nope! But I am pretty much WIDE AWAKE!

If Tiffany wasn't sleeping on my floor I would turn on my light and read. Maybe I will do that anyways!

I went with the residents to the Casino tonight. Gave me a headache. Don't really understand the whole smoking appeal.

So, I worked about 9 hours today. Tomorrow I have to be to work at 7AM for Men's Breakfast. SO EARLY! I'll work until 5pm. Another nine hours. This means I will have to find 2 hours during the busy week because we are not allowed overtime. I'm pretty tired. I need a vacation but I am saving up until October when Chris comes home from Italy.

I am really just babbling and to end,

I LOVE the SOUND of the TRAINS! I could hear it in the East Hill home, couldn't in the rental house and NOW I can hear them again. That sound is comforting to me. (As long as I am FAR away from them.

Moving Day was yesterday...

Well, its 3:17 in the morning and I can not sleep! GO FIGURE! I thought I would unpack a little but I got to cold so went back to bed. Moving went pretty well. Still a couple things to move. I realized last night that I have my mattresses, my bed frame and bolts, but, we forgot the support slats :( , I guess I am sleeping on the floor for a couple nights.

Last night I was thinking how lucky I am to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. We had three trucks come and help us move, two cars of people, my car, and Anna's car. It was great to spend the day with the help we did have. And then our neighbor (who is LDS) came out and helped up also. My major decision is to decide which ward I want to attend. The Single's Ward, or Clark Lake ward? Hard decision because I miss my homeward and many of you know how I feel about the Single's Ward. I'll still go to FHE with them and maybe some activities, but I think I'm leaning towards Clark Lake ward.

Well, now that I'm even more awake than before, what will I do.

Jen, Joe, Ethan, and Ashlee are coming over for dinner tonight along with my Home Teachers. We are having Waikiki Burgers (pretty good for just moving and not having much out! Those who don't know what it is, it is pretty much a chicken cordon blue sandwich with pineapple. You have your breaded chicken patty, a slice of ham, a slice of pineapple, then a slice of swiss cheese. It is amazing. We will also have Tater Tots (specially ordered by Ashlee and Ethan!!!), salad, green peas, and I guess I can make some Jello, we do have that!!! I need to work on dessert. That is the tough one.

Well, that made me hungry! I need to find my book or something, oh, nevermind hahaha, my lamp is still packed!

Oh the joys of moving! My yoom is a lot bigger than I though it was so I am having some difficulties trying to decide where I want everything. Wish my daddy was here to make everything all pretty and flowing like he always does.

Well, my brain power is gone for now.

Private part II

People are asking the reason. I've been getting creepy responses and I ignored the a couple times and it still bothers me... So Private is my solution!

I beat the residents in Monopoly today... I played easy too. Kind of sad though, one of the residents sometimes can't even remember her daughters yet she can remember the secrets of monopoly. Did you know each railroad is 10 pieces away from each other? SHE DID!

I am going private so if you want to continue to have access, let me know and I will add you... I guess I need to figure out how to go private first!!!

pack

Packing is going really really slow! I have been really busy at work and its hard to get the umph to start. Yesterday I babysat from six until twelve, got flowers for Mother's Tea and then was at the Tea Party until 4:30. Had to run errands, say bye to Tim King... My feet still hurt from the Tea Party. That means no high heels at church today!!! Anyways, I'm just complaining so I need to stop! I'm lucky that I HAVE A WONDERFUL place to move to! And that I have a job, and a car! So, I just need to be thankful!

I NEED TO PACK! It would be nice if I could start taking boxrs over to get them out of the way :)

WHERE'd I LEAVE MY BRAIN?

Well, I hate when things like this happen because my boss has been mocking me since Wednesday. I drove to DR's appointments and I had a resident at the anticoagulatuon clinic in Renton (about 20 minutes from work). I parked in the loading zone to see if she was ready. When I cam back out, I couldn't start the Explorer and the steering wheel was jammed. I shook the wheel because that happened to my car once and that was the solution. Needless to say, didn't work. People were giving me dirty looks because I am in a company car blocking the ramp to the building until I tell them what's going on and they just feel sorry for me. And of course, the LOGO is big so everybody knows whose car won't start. I try for about 30 minutes before my boss shows up. Can you guess how long it took him to turn it on? ABOUT 10 SECONDS! Made me so angry!

Yesterday I was at Jenkins house after work. I was missing my mom and she makes me feel better. We went to get pizza for dinner and she told me she wanted to stop at QFC to get drumsticks. We stopped at the ice cream aisle, got salad and headed for the door. I asked if she needed chicken, she said no! I asked didn't you want to get wings or something. (P.S. I thought she was weird wanting chicken with pizza) and she laughed. She was talking about the drumsticks ice cream!!!! SMART ME, I give myself an excuse because its been an emotionally, mentally, and physically draining week. And I am starting off the weekend with a little stomach bug so I can't do everything that needs to be done today AND no work. Did I mention its like a beautiful sunny day and suppose to be up to 63 degrees today. I don't even want to get out of bed... Feel sorry for me please!!!

... Days until I move. I didn't even think about taking pictures today when Anna and I signed the lease so, you all will just have to wait and see.

This is a really good move! I am extremely happy about it and although there is stress with moving, there is peace about this move!

REHAB

Do they have office supply rehab??? I sorted two containers of office supplies and came out with 113 pens, 42 sharpies, and 60 markers/hiliters...

I still have a couple other containers also.

YIKES!!!

I know I shouldn't count my chickens before they hatch (that is the phrase, right?) But I am so happy right now!!! I am moving, assuming everything works out the way it should. I have not been happy where I am living so Anna and I are moving to a two bedroom, two bath, walk in closets in rooms apartment that just feels so much better to be on. I haven't been as happy as I am now in a LONG time and I can't wait for this next little journey.

Since its going to be a little more money, Anna and I are on a shopping diet! It is hard! But saving is so much better!

So, in June, I will be in a much happier situation! I'll post pictures once we are moved. I just need to finish getting organized now!

I am also really tired so I am sorry if this is not making any sense!

P.S. Those who know it, I'll be moving to "Mormon Terrace" once again assuming all goes well! Which means CLARK LAKE WARD! And I guess still the singles ward.

i have a lot on my mind and this doesnt come close to covering it!

I haven't been good at blogging so I thought I would blog what's on my mind in the form of ABC's.

Anna- I would probably go crazy if it weren't for Anna, my roommate. She is one of my best friends EVER and she keeps me sane! She is my movie buddy, late night grocery shopping, gardening, work helping friend. I can count on her for anything.

Book of Mormon- I love reading the Hymn scriptures and latley a lot we have been singing in Sacrament Meeting have been from the Book of Mormon. I love the feelings I get when I read the Book of Mormon and how my life is so easy when I do.

Craigslist- I love craigslist! Afterall, I did get my Christmas Tree off of it. I am now looking for a bike rack and patio furniture. Waiting for the right items to be added.

Death- One of my most favorite residents passed away last week. It would be A LOT harder to handle if my testimony in the Plan of Salvation wasn't so strong. Knowledge makes life easier.

Escape- I love my car!

Family- I hope my family knows how much I love them! Its hard not having all of them around me, but I REALLY love them!

Grandpa- Grandpa and Momma Tamblin are two of the greatest people on this earth! They spoil me and take care of me. After holidays I always have Ham and homemade Mac and Cheese to look forward too. They SAVED me when I was at Firestone getting my tires changed.

Home- I don't have a REAL home, its not on 240th St anymore, nor is this rental house, or Chicago... Its scary!!!

I'll Go-... Where You Want Me To GO Dear Lord, Hymn 270, read it!

Jessica- is another one of my Best Friends. She is practically a sister. Every week she buys me Pad Thai. I really am spoiled. Her step dad even helped change my flat. GOOD PEOPLE!

Kings- my family away from my family. With them around, its like I have more younger brothers and sisters. Plus, Chris mows my lawn.

Lala- I love how Ashlee calls me Aunt Lala and when I call Jen, she says, "That's my Lala!"

MiracleGro- made my Cilantro DOUBLE in size in one week! Amazing stuff!

Nails- I love having my own Natural Nails... Why did it take so long to stop biting them!

Oregon- I need to take a road trip with Jen to see the Pederson's.

Prayer- I have such a strong testimony that the Lord answers prayers in his own time! Even if it takes a year. Now I can be patient in waiting for answers because the feeling I got WHEN I had an important prayer answered will stay with me FOREVER!

Queen- Dairy Queen doesn't make Nerds Blizzards or Cotton Candy blizzards anymore. It makes me sad! None of the remaining flavors are good, which I guess is a blessing because I hardly ever go there.

RoadTrip- Robert wants to take a road trip to Utah for conference again. I will only make that drive again if people get Friday and Monday off work. Rushing made us all crazy, SOME more than others if you heard the stories. I wouldbt mind going to conference again though!

Silky- I miss my silky blanket. MOM, make me one please!

Thai Food- I made Massaman Curry Saturday and it was amazing. I will definitley be making that more often. I even bought Fish Sauce.

U- those who read this, "U" are a blessing to me!

V- I love videos. More specifically dVds. Guilty Pleasure. If I was rich and didn't have bills, I would spend all my money on shoes, purses, and movies. Uhm, I need a VCR player.

Wok- A Wok will be my next big purchase so I can make more Thai Food. Thanks again Sister Gayton for letting me borrow yours!

X- remeber playing Xylophones in elementary school? I might need to get my food Xrayed because it hurts intensely bad!

Yard Work- I love my little garden. Yard Work IS NOT a pain when you want to do it and its not a chore.

Z- Time to get some ZZZZ's lately I wake up two hours after falling asleep and can't get back to sleep!

Chicago...

I am leaving Thursday to spend my birthday in Chicago, the freezing cold, and of course with my family. It couldnt come at a better time. Work has been stressful and I needed to get out of Washington before I EXPLODE. I am looking for a second job so I can save up for a down payment on a Condo there. It is going to be a busy next three days though and I have the flu or food poisoning or something so I am really hoping I will be able to go to work tommorow. Too much to do and not enough time or energy to do it all.

HEAT

It has been pretty chilly here in Washington. Usually when it is cold, people turn on the heater... Not in this house! It is driving me crazy. One roommate IS ALWAYS hot and whines and complains if the heat is one. She tells us she won't pay the bill for it because she doesn't want it. She also told us other three to go buy a space heater. So, instead of heating our house (definitely not a HOME) to seventy degrees, she wants us to plug in three space heaters? Won't that cost more? I am so cold in this house that the inside of my bones hurt!!! It doesn't make sense to me that three people should suffer and be miserable just so one person would just be quiet!

Puddles

Hi this is tiffany... I'm blogging for laura. A funny thing happened on the way to the movies, its been raining really hard the last couple days. Laura really loves safely speeding through puddles. And watching the waves it makes. We were at the bottom of smith hill, and there was a puddle coming up. There just happened to be a man where the puddle was. And laura swerved for the puddle, and the man went flying through the air to avoid being splashed.no matter how bad she wanted to , she wouldn't have actually splashed the man but it was sure funny to see the man go flying. We can only image the thoughts that were running through his head.

We then went SAFELY splashing though other puddles. They were meant to be splashed through.

Well, it is official! My phone wad released from police custody! It happened allot faster than I thought it would also! I sanitized it.

I also talked to Ashlee on the phone today (she is the cutest thing alive!). I asked her if she wanted Aunt Lala's phone and she said, "yes!" In her cute little happy voice... I am going to deep down clean it before she inherits it though!

AND, all my numbers are officially transferred! WOOHOO!

AND, its Survivor tonight. Tomorrow I will try to post the picture of me and Shambo... HAHAHA!

The Kent Jailhouse...

Jen said now that I have internet on my phone I can blog more often... I decided to start with why I am typing on this blackberry tour...

Friday I had taken a load of resident from all three buildings to a vienna strauss luncheon at the Kent Senior Center. We had to have them drive us home because our bus was being used for shopping trips. As we were loading the bus my phone rang... I answered it and put it back in my purse, which was full with everybody else's stuff... A couple hours later I was going shopping for work when I realized I didn't have my phone. No problem! I left it at work! I went back and searched everywhere. It was gone! So I called Verizon and reported it lost/stolen. Because my upgrade date was in November through miraculous means they moved it up... Hence, the Blackberry and internet.

Monday we got a call from the senior center saying they may have my phone but its not in their hands so they can't tell me for sure. I took this as someone else in the building has it and since I was across the street ordering something for Laurie I stopped in. They said it would not be brought to them until tuesday. What? Where is it coming from? They said, "the Kent Jail House".

Now Thursday, I still don't have my phone. Because the girl who got arrested also tried to steal a purse, my phone is being used as evidence in her court case. I don't even know how she got it. The reason the senior center was called by the probation officer was because she told them she took the phone from there. Why do things like this happen to me? Weird things happen to me!

Anyways, I JUST WANT MY PHONENUMBERS BACK! And, after extensive sanitizing, Ashlee wants my phone!
